摘要
自 195 4年发现“丁村人”化石至今 ,“丁村组”的年代长期存在很大争论。作者通过对S5以来临汾盆地地貌和沉积环境演化过程的研究 ,揭示出“丁村组”的堆积是在S1早期的一次区域构造抬升引起盆地湖退后才开始发生的 ,时间距今大约 13万年。结合上覆“丁村组”的黄土古土壤分析 ,发现其堆积结束于距今约 5 .3万年。“丁村组”
Since the fossils of Dingcun Culture were discovered in 1954, many scholars have been studying the age of Dingcun Formation in different ways. But there is still no certain answer to it till now. During Quaternary, lakes prevailed in Linfen Basin, and their levels often changed owing to tectonic movements and changes in the paleoclimate. According to the characteristics of Dingcun Formation and the history of Basin since S 5, We find that the deelopment of Basin strongly controlled the formation of the sediments near Dingcun. Taking all the facts We get from field works and the analysis in the laboratory into account, We draw some conclusions: 1) Dingcun Formation began to accumulate in about 130ka B.P. and ended in about 5.3ka B.P. 2) The deposition of Dingcun Formation was in correspondence with the formation of S 1 and lower part of L 1 in times.
