ON THE RELATION BETWEEN MIND AND BODY

心身天系问题是一个古老而至今尚未能正确解决的重要问题。从唯物论的心身一元论的观点来看,人体(主要是神经系统)有两种机能,即生理机能和心理机能。这两种机能有本质的、高低级的不同,它们的机体基础也有不同。人的心理活动就是具有心理类型的神经活动.由此论述了心理学和生理学的联系和区别,以及与心身关系有关的其它几个问题.

The relation between mind and body is an old and very important problem that has not been rightly solved yet. From the viewpoint of materialistic mind-body monism, the body of a human being (mainly the nerve system) has two functions-physiological and psychological. There exists an essential difference in high or low levels between these two functions, furthermore, their organic bases are also different. The mental activity of a human being is only a psychological type of the activity of nerve. Hence, this paper deals with the association and difference between psychology and physiology, and several other problems of the relation between mind and body.
