<Abstrcat> This article firstly analyses the current situation of development of world's knowledgebased economy, then it point out that there is a certain disparity between China and western developing countries in the aspect of development of knowledgebased economy. As China is a developing country so that we should take use of the historic opportunity of the development of knowledgebased economy,encourage the high technology, speed up the pace of construction and make the socialism realizing the latercomers surpassing the formers.
