摘要
The Internet has allowed for a surge in the growth of technology mediated learning, including distance learning, in higher education; yet, much of the momentum for this growth has its roots in forces spawning the New Economy and the Next Society.In this paper, relationships among the New Economy, the Next Society, and teaching/learning practices in higher education will be explored, and recommendations for and practices concerning technology mediated learning in higher education will be identified.
