The difference between Chinese culture and western culture and college English teaching

探讨了语言与文化的关系及中西方文化差异现象 ,阐述了大学英语教学中进行文化知识教育的重要性和必要性 ,认为对学生进行文化知识教育应注重课堂讲解 ,指导学生课外阅读 。

The relationship between language and culture as well as the differences between Chinese culture and western culture are discussed. The importance and necessity of cultural education in college English teaching are explained. It is believed that in order to improve cultural education in college English teaching, teachers should add some relative knowledge on culture in class, instruct students to read materials after class, offer cultural courses or show films on western culture .
