How to improve students' ability to write is a topic worthy of discussion. This article analyzes problems in college English writing from such aspects as the influence of multiple choice questions, attention paid to writing in teaching and the influence of both teachers and learners' strategy. Then it also presents some possible solutions to the said problems.
