Thought on the Four Books of the Zhu Xi School

宋代四书学是由儒学系统内部诸多学派支持的经学活动。其中主要一家是宗本朱熹思想学说的宗朱学派。这一学派学者宗本朱学的学术践行主要是 :自觉建树朱学的承传统绪、深入发掘经典的原理精神。

The study of the Four Books in the Song Dynasty is the Confucian practice that was undertaken by different academic schools within the Confucian system, a primary one of which is the Zhu Xi School. The scholars who revered Zhu as their teacher mainly practiced in the following fields: to conscientiously carry forward and set up Zhu′s theory to form the teaching orthodoxy; to bring out in depth the essence of fundamental tenets of the Confucian classics; to make academic criticisms by use of prefaces and postscripts.
