During the Northern, the Sui and the Tang Dynasties, there're many prestigious talents from Yu's family in the area around Luoyang. But there're some differences among the records of this family. Some historical documents record it as Dai people, Yongzhou people or Jingzhao people. But according to the study of concerned epitaphs and inscriptions, Yu's Family lived in Luoyang, Henan.
