硅藻土及其在离心铸管涂料中应用

Diatomite and Its Application in Mould Coating for Centrifugal Cast Iron Pipe

介绍了硅藻土的成因及其应用,并对国产四种硅藻土的化学成分及形态、矿物组成和物理化学特性进行了系统研究,其中发观,以长白硅藻土的性能为最佳,用它作离心铸管涂料的耐火材料,可替代从德国进口的硅藻土,已用于大量生产,效果良好。对长白硅藻土进行预处理,即可达到去除有机物、结合水和细化颗粒的目的。

Abstract In this paper, the formation cause and application of the diatomite are presented. The chemical composition, morphology, physico-chemical properties and mineral constituent of several kinds of Chinese diatomite were systematically investigated. The results showed that the Changbai diatomite had the best properties as refractory filler used for centrifugal cast iron pipe, this kind of diatomite hr.s been used in mass production in stead of German diatomite and achieved good result. In order to remove some organic matters and bound water and to finely subdivided the particle size, the diatomite should be treated before using.
