由于喜好书画作品,乾隆便凭借财富与权势进行广泛的搜罗,成为18世纪中国当之无愧的第一收藏大家。乾隆朝搜集书画的数量相当可观,存世的唐、宋、元、明名画, 几乎收罗无遗。

Hongli Aisin Gioro is a much blessed emperor,favored by Emperor Kang Xi,his grandfather,even when he was a child.Also owing to this,as it was said,his father was chosen as the Emperor as well.Hongli inaugurated as an Emperor when he was 25 years old,thus initiated the age of Qian Long. He is the first confidentially appointed emperor in China's history.He retired from the position at 85,as he didn't want his tenure to be longer than his grandfather's(who was as Emperor for 61 years).He passed away at 89 years old,hence was the Emperor with longest tenure and longest life in China's history;in addition,he is an Emperor full of legends.
