Tadao Ando's design is a vivid embodiment of the aesthetics of Japan,that is,poetic,serene and pure.Through his works,we can always feel a gleam of Buddhism and the concept of immateriality,which is pursued by Laozi,the initiator of Taoism.Being a legend himself,he came through dramatic experiences and turned himself into an idol architect from a common lad.No famous architects in today's world have been like him who jumped into the field without any professional studying.He taught himself what architecture means with the distinctive constructions he saw during his trips as live textbooks.
