The spring auction has passed more than a half,with big auctions of the art works staged one by one.In the passionate May,the first large-scale art works auction in 2006 by Chongyuan International has marched into the international market with the remarkable achievement of over RMB 220 million.The Sotheby's Hong Kong has concluded the volume of business over RMB 600 million,once again continuing a good development momentum of Chinese contemporary art.In the early summer of June,the big art auctions are still in full swing,making their performance on and on. The first international auctions by Chongyuan International Auction(Macao)Co., Ltd.has successfully concluded with marvelous performance with RMB 220 million of transaction.And the legendary folding screen of Qing Dynasty that attracted the public attention has found its new home with RMB 80,500,000.The five auctions by Sotheby's Hong Kong contribute to a total transaction volume of more than RMB 600 million,continuing the unparalleled development momentum of Chinese contemporary art in New York international auction circle.
