广州的画廊业,是一个隽永不退的话题。这并不是故意把画廊跟经济繁荣或文化产业发展之类的“高调”扯上衣襟,也不是发自个人主观的片面感受,而是因为广州画廊行业的客观发展所造成。特别是近几年来涌现到公众视野中的新型画廊,不仅改变了“画廊”在公共传播中的大众形象,也从根本上推动和完善了画廊行业的总体发展。广州的画廊行业,已经成为跟这座城市中的美术馆、博物馆,以及广州艺术博览会和广州的嘉德、保利等艺术品拍卖行业一样,被社会公众所关注和需要。这里刊登的是调查报告的第三部分。

Gallery industry in Guangzhou is a never-fading topic.Neither is it intentionally connecting galleries to“high-tones”such as economic thriving or cultural industry development;it is nor unilateral perceiving of individuals.Instead,it is a result of the development of Guangzhou galleries.Galleries of new types that came to public vision in recent years have not only changed the image of galleries in public media,they also promote and complete the over-all development of the whole industry.Galleries,along with museums,public art galleries,Guangzhou Art Exposition,and art auctions such as Guardian and Poly,are winning public attention,and demanded by them.
