Visitors to Hong Kong are always in a hurry—shopping, visiting Ocean Park or Disneyland …However, a journey to such a richly deposited city is far beyond this. The charm of Hong Kong lies in its uniqueness at the core, the deposits of history and culture, glittering like a pearl in its tough existence. To rest at the most internationalized Chongqing Dasha, to ride star ferry at Tsimshatsui, to take a break at Hong Kong Park rebuilt from old British barback, to take rail cable car up Tai Ping Hill, appreciating cultural relics at the memorial when waiting, and to pursue the lanes that have been witnessing Hong Kong history …The essence of the city is then outspreaded slowly like this.
