Mao Kun's Archives Education Concept and Its Enlightenment

毛坤作为我国近代档案教育的重要开创者,对我国近代档案人才培养产生了重要影响。毛坤在求知、工作和教学过程中形成了"师古效西"、理论和实践"相需为用"、通识通才、经世致用、德才并重等档案教育理念,其教育理念对当今档案学教研、档案教育开办、档案人才培养等方面仍具有重要启发和借鉴意义。

As an important inaugurator of modern archival education of China, Mao Kun had an important influence on the training of archival talents in modern China. In the process of seeking knowledge,working and teaching, Mao Kun formed the teaching idea of learning from both the ancient times and the west, combining theory with practice. Besides, Mao Kun stressed the importance of general education, guided the students to put what is learned into practice and gave equal weight to morality and talent. His concept of archival education still has enlightening value and reference significance for today’s archival teaching and research, archival education and personnel training.
