培养什么人是教育的首要问题,育人和育才相统一是人才培养的辩证法,培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人是新时代中国大学的重要使命。新时代的大学教育,需着力在拓展和深化教育的历史之维、国际之维、责任之维和实践之维上下功夫:以历史的教育揭示规律、昭示方向;以国际的教育开阔视野、树立自信;以责任的教育明确使命、学会担当;以实践的教育锻炼能力、服务社会。

What kind of person education should cultivate is the primary issue in education.The unity of education and cultivation is the dialectic of talent cultivation.It is an important mission for Chinese universities in the new era to cultivate new persons in the era of national rejuvenation.To fulfill the university education in the new era,we must make great effort to expand and deepen historical and international dimensions,dimensions of responsibility and practice,that is,we must reveal the law and indicate the direction with history education,broaden the horizon and establish self-confidence with international education,clarify the mission and shoulder the responsibilities with responsible education and improve the new persons’ability to serve the society with practice education.
