Analysis on the Reactor Inlet Pump Mechanical Seals' Malfunction and Modification

通过对茂名乙烯公司环氧乙烷 /乙二醇装置反应器进料泵机械密封主要设计参数的校核计算 ,分析了该泵机械密封失效的原因 ,提出了密封改造方案 ,在实际应用中取得了较好效果。

Mechanical seals leakage happened frequently in the EO/EG reactor inlet pump during commission period. Based on reviewing calculations of the main parameters, mechanical seals' malfunction was analysed, and related modification methods were proposed. It proved that the improvement was successful.
