摘要
文章讨论了素质教育的基本概念 .认为素质教育包含三个层次 ,即基本素质教育、创新素质教育和人类生存与可持续发展素质教育 .论述了地理教学在不同层次素质教育的地位和作用 .认为人类生存与发展教育是素质教育的最高境界 ;地理教学中的可持续发展理论是人类生存与发展素质教育的主要内容 ;
This paper explores into the basic concept of qualit y education composed of three levels: fundamental quality education, crea tive quality education and human existence and development quality education.Bes ides,it expounds on the position and role of geography teaching in quality ed ucation.It is opined that human existence and development is the ultimate tar get of quality education while the theory of sustainable development is the cor e of the quality education for human existence and development,and geographical teaching is the main approach to that goal.
