The Realistic Function of the Language Philosophy——A Case Study of the Four Features of the Language Philosophy of the British New Left

相比于语言内部本体论的研究而言,对语言哲学现实功能的探究更为重要,因为这为解决现实历史困境和建构理想社会提供了一种新的思考方式。本文选取具有当代语言哲学代表性的英国新左派思想为例,以历史文化语义学窥探现实社会深层矛盾、政治语言哲学洞见文化社会权力、语言实践生成理论折射社会总体性和搭建话语实践模式提升微观主体能力,即其思想四重奏的特质,试图呈现语言哲学的现实功能。

It is more important to explore the real function of linguistic philosophy than to study the internal ontology of language, because it provides a new way of thinking for solving realistic historical predicament and constructing ideal society. This paper chooses the British New Leftist thought with the representation of contemporary language philosophy as an example.The four features of the language philosophy of the British New Left,that are,the historical and cultural semantics to explore the deep contradiction of the real society, the political language philosophy to insight cultural social power, the theory of language practice to reflect the social totality,and the discourse practice mode to improve the main ability of microcosmic body.This four features trying to present the realistic function of the language philosophy.
