环境传播的修辞机制

Rhetoric Mechanism of Environmental Communication

随着建构主义成为人文社会科学的主流,环境传播也开始采取社会-符号的建构视角,被表征为社会运用符号进行的对环境以及人与环境关系的意义表述与争夺。这事实上是一种修辞学的取向,可以被表述为环境修辞。当下,无论在学术还是实践层面,环境修辞都已经成为环境传播中最重要的取向之一。本文以修辞学理论为基础,尝试回答环境修辞的一个元问题,即环境传播与修辞之间的关系性。进而本文首先从西方修辞学两种基本的修辞观入手,搭建环境传播与修辞之间的关联机制;然后通过分析'修辞结构'这一意义生产的修辞语言,探究环境修辞的意义机制;最后从艺术性、效果、伦理性三个维度建构环境修辞的批评机制,以期为环境修辞搭建一个相对完整的修辞学分析框架。

With constructivism becoming the mainstream of Humanities and social sciences,environmental communication has begun to adopt the perspective of social-symbolic construction,which is characterized as the social use of symbols to express and compete for the meaning of the environment and the relationship between people and the environment.This is,in fact,a rhetorical orientation,which can be interpreted as environmental rhetoric.Nowadays,environmental rhetoric has become one of the most important orientations in environmental communication,both in academic and practical aspects.Based on the rhetoric theory,this paper attempts to answer a meta-question of environmental rhetoric,namely,the relationship between environmental communication and rhetoric.Starting with the two basic rhetoric concepts of Western rhetoric,the paper establishes the relationship mechanism between environmental communication and rhetoric,and then explores the meaning mechanism of environmental rhetoric by analyzing'rhetoric structure',which is the rhetoric language of producing the meanings.And finally,the paper constructs the critical mechanism of environmental rhetoric from three dimensions,namely,artistry,effect,and ethics,so as to construct a relative and complete rhetorical framework for environmental rhetoric.
