English is an important language for current international exchanges. College English majors mainly rely on students to continuously improve their independent learning ability. This article mainly elaborates the current learning situation of college English majors,and puts forward strategies to improve the learning effectiveness of English majors from both the perspectives of teachers and students. The aim is to improve the students’ English proficiency.
