应用型人才培养模式下大学英语语音教学的必要性

当今社会对应用型人才的需求越来越大,要求大学生具备良好的英语综合运用能力,特别是听说能力。但是目前非英语专业大学生的口语表达能力不容乐观,为改善这一状况,很有必要开设针对非英语专业大学生的语音课程。因为语音是口语交际的基石;语音掌握的好坏影响学生英语学习的信心;良好的语音有助于提高学生的英语综合能力。

Nowadays,there is a growing demand for application-oriented talents in society. College students are required to have a good command of English,especially listening and speaking ability. However,the oral expression ability of non-English majors is not optimistic at present. In order to improve this situation,it is necessary to offer phonetics courses for non-English majors. Because pronunciation is the cornerstone of oral communication;pronunciation mastery affects students’ confidence in English learning;good pronunciation helps to improve students’ comprehensive English ability.
