摘要
模糊限制语在各种文体中的运用受到了语言学家们的关注。本文以历届美国总统就职演说为语料,采用定性、定量相结合的研究方法,从语用学的角度探讨了模糊限制语的语用功能,以期提高英语学习者的语用策略,帮助他们更好地进行言语交际。
Many linguists are paying attention to the study of hedges.Based on the inaugural address of presidents of America,this paper combines qualitative and quantitative methods to discuss the pragmatical functions of hedges in order to improve the pragmatical strategies of English learners and help them communicate better.
