Social Function and Subject Construction of Minority Journalism and Communication

少数民族新闻传播有其特殊的受众、语言媒介及所处的社会环境,除具有一般新闻传播的社会功能之外,还要起到维护民族团结、发展地区经济、传承民族文化的特殊功能。当前我国的少数民族新闻传播研究及学科建设需要进一步加强,民族地区应发挥优势,与各高校和研究机构搭建研究平台,构建系统的少数民族新闻传播学教育体系,建立跨学科的教育研究队伍,培养能力全面的少数民族新闻传播人才。

Minority journalism and communication is different from mass media because of its receiver,language and social environment.It plays an important role in maintaining social stability,developing economy and spreading ethical culture.Nowadays the study of minority journalism and communication and subject construction need to be strenthened.Minority districts should cooperate with colleges and research institutions to build minority journalism and communication educational system.They should set up cross-subjects reaearch groups to cultivate minority journalism talents.
