Focus on the Tradition of Applying the Past to the Present in the Teaching of Important Historic Works

中国历史要籍教学除对史学的发展概况的常识进行介绍外 ,还应对史官、史学大家、史学名著所寄寓的史学的经世致用传统进行精心的讲解 ,目的是增强历史系学生读史。

Apart from a common introduction to the development of historic studies in the important works on Chinese History, we should also elaborate to the students the tradition of applying the past experience to the present reposed by official historians, historiographers and their masterpieces so as to strengthen the students' consciousness of history study and serve the society.
