The famous short story “The Lotus Lake” by Sun Li is a masterpiece piece full of aesthetics to be appreciated. The author comments on the life with an eye of poet, describing the life, the images and the scenery with proper poetic language and impressing the readers with an aesthetic feeling to enjoy the life in the anti Japanese period.
