This paper analyses the necessity and importance of strengthening innovative education in the basic courses of law, lists some pioneering teaching methods against the traditional ones in special subject teaching, role playing and classroom discussion, etc.. And it is expected to seek a new teaching mode more appropriate for the education of the basic courses of law in colleges and universities.
