改革开放四十年来,国家立法工作走过了极不平凡的历史进程,取得了举世瞩目的巨大成就。现行宪法及其五个修正案发展完善了我国的立法体制机制。四十年来,在每个历史阶段,国家立法工作都紧紧围绕党和国家的中心工作以及经济社会发展不同阶段,为改革开放和社会主义现代化建设提供重要的法治保障。党的十八大以来,国家立法工作迈出新步伐、取得新进展,呈现出数量多、分量重、节奏快的新特点,开启了新时代立法工作新篇章。

It has been 40 extraordinary years since the Reform and Opening-up,during which great achievements were made.The Constitution,together with its five amendments,contributes to the development and improvement of the legislative systems and mechanisms of China.All through the 40 years,the national legislation work has always been about the major task of the Party and the State,and based on the level of economic and social development of the time,so as to provide legal safeguards for the reform and opening-up and the socialist modernization.The 18th CCP National Congress in particular marks the start of a new phase of the national legislation work,in that the workload has been increasing,the importance of legislation work is more highlighted,and the pace of work has been accelerated.
