驻马店自然资源基础好 ,优势突出 ,但人文资源尤其是资本、技术和智力型人力资源严重不足 .今后 ,驻马店应大力发展种植业和畜牧业 ,加快农业产业化进程 ;积极引进资本和技术 ,促进资源的开发与转化 ;加大人才培养步伐 ,提高我市人才素质 ;进一步搞好旅游资源的开发 ;合理有效地搞好矿产资源的开发 .

Zhumadian has a sound fundation and adventages at natural resources; yet humanistic resources, especially the capital technology and intellectualized manpower are seriously scatce. To better Zhumadian's economic development from now on, it is necessary to gaeatly develop planting seetor and animal husbandry; to accelerate the paogress of the industrcalized agricuture; to introduce capital and teehniques; to promote to develop and divert resources; to speed up the pace to foster the tallents and imporve their qualification; to better the developing travel resources; and also to develop the mineral resources with reacon and efficienly.
