摘要
19世纪70年代,柏林世博会向观众展示了一种全新的发明——用电力推动前进的轨道车辆。不久后,这种新奇的车辆便已不再是展览会上的昂贵摆设。上海向来得西方风气之先,1901年,匈牙利人李恩时带了两部汽车远涉重洋登陆上海滩,当这车头悬挂着上海车牌、屁股后喷射出烟雾的'怪物'在马路上扬长而过时,上海人意识到汽车时代来临了。
In 1870s a brand new invention was displayed on the World Expo in Berlin—tram vehicle pushed forward by electric power.Soon this kind of novel vehicle was no longer just the expensive decoration in the exhibition.Shanghai had always been influenced by the western fashion.In 1901 A Hungarian Leinz brought two automobiles across the oceans to Shanghai.When the freak with Shanghai license plate hung on the head crossed roads spraying smog in the rear,the Shanghainese realized that the times of automobile had arrived.
