祖父臧伯庸,1889年生于四川成都一个旧官僚家庭。1905年由成都赴日习医。翌年由熊克武与胡国樑两位介绍,加入了同盟会,跟随孙中山先生从事推翻清政府的革命运动。1916年学成归国,在上海九江路、西藏路口等处开业行医。祖父行医达半个多世纪,求医者以万计。但他本人却接受过孙中山与章太炎两位革命伟人的医治。
Zang Boyong,the grand father of the author was born in an old bureaucratic family in Chengdu Sichuan Province in 1889.In 1905,he went to study in Japan and on the recommendation of Xiong Kewu and Hu Guoliang,he joined the Alliance Association in 1906,following Dr.Sun Yat-sen in the revolutionary moment of overthrowing the Qing Government.Returning to China in 1916,he established several clinics on Kiukiang Road and Tibet Road in Shanghai.Millions of patients sought for his treatment during his practicing medicine for over half a century while he himself was once treated by two great revolutionists Dr.Sun Yat-sen and Chang Ping-lin.
