石库门建筑在上海近代住宅建筑中,占有一定的地位,同时也有不同的类别。就其山墙而言,因不同的屋顶形式等而呈现出千姿百态,风格各异。它遗留着中国传统建筑的要素,又移植了欧洲古典建筑装饰的元素,本文对这些装饰艺术作一简单介绍。

Shikumen building plays an important role in modern architectures of Shanghai with different categories.As far as its gables,they present various styles due to different shapes of roof.These gables inherit the elements of traditional Chinese architectures and transplant those of European classical architectures.The article gives a brief introduction to the decorative art of these gables.
