崧泽地名考略

崧泽,旧名崧宅,是上海地区比较古老的地名,最迟至宋代作为里名出现。历史上相传东晋袁崧居此而得名,本文赞同明文裕公陆深关于崧泽非袁崧宅的观点,并对崧泽及其相近的地名进行了进一步梳理和考述。

Song Ze,formerly named Song Zhai is an ancient place name in Shanghai,which appeared as a name of li(lane)in the Song Dynasty at the latest.According to the history,it got the name after Yuan Song,a celebrity of the Eastern Jin Dynasty who once lived here.The article supports the opinion of Lu Shen(posthumously titled Wen Yu in the Ming Dynasty)that Song Ze does not refer to the residence of Yuan Song and provides further study on Song Ze and other similar place names.
