摘要
从1937年'八·一三'抗战到上海'孤岛'时期,由法国天主教神父饶家驹担任要职的华洋义赈会、国际救济会、中国红十字会国际委员会在上海为救助中国难民作出了很大的贡献。饶家驹建议设立并主持的南市安全区保护了20万难民。饶家驹以及南市安全区之所以获得成功有多方面的原因,其中主要有中外各方的支持、良好的团队运作、饶家驹自身的丰富实践经验、杰出的语言交流能力以及强烈的宗教救世道义与人道主义精神等。饶神父热爱中国、热爱中国人民的真诚动机与艰辛努力是应该充分肯定的。
From the Songhu Battle on August 13th 1937 to the period when Shanghai became an isolated island.China International Famine Relief Commission,International Relief Committee and Shanghai International Red Cross,in all of which the French Catholic priest Jacquinot occupied prestigious positions made profound contributions to helping Chinese refugees.The Jacquinot Safe Zone established and presided by him protected200,000 refugees and the reasons of its success mainly include the supports form both China and West,the excellent team operation as well as the rich experiences,outstanding communication skills and strong humanitarian spirit of Jacquinot himself.The sincere motivation and arduous efforts of the Priest’s love for China and Chinese people should be highly appreciated.
