近代上海女子教育简论

Brief Discussion on the Women’s Education in Modern Shanghai

近代上海是全国女子教育最为发达的城市,对江南乃至全国女子教育具有示范和引领作用,集聚培养和输送了一批女性人才,在中国近代教育史和女子教育史上都具有重要意义。本文分四个阶段简要介绍了上海女子教育的概况,归纳和分析了引领作用明显、集聚效应突出、联系实际紧密三个特色,从女子教育思想、政府倡导、教育近代化三个方面,总结了上海女子教育发达之原因。

As the most advanced city in the aspect of women’s education in China,modern Shanghai played a leading role in the regions south of the Yangtze River and even the whole nation,which assembled and transported a batch of female talents,having a significant meaning in modern Chinese education history and women’s education history.This article,through four stages briefly describes the women’s education in Shanghai,analyzes three features including obvious leading role,outstanding agglomeration effect and close connection with reality and also summarizes the reasons of the prosperity of women’s education from such three aspects as the ideology on women’s education,advocacy of the government and modernization of education.
