摘要
清末石印术得到普及,刺激了绣像插图版报刊书籍出版的繁荣,催生了画报和新一代广告月份牌,引领了读图时代的到来,开启了海派画家新的商业创作模式。画师周慕桥为该时期结合石印术作画的商业画家之一,曾参与《点石斋画报》等多种石印画报的绘制,也是旧校场年画与早期月份牌的重要绘画者。他的从业历程反映了近代出版业生产技术的革新对城市经济的推动,以及对文化传播的促进。
Since lithography gained popularity in the late Qing Dynasty,it stimulated the prosperity of illustrated books as well as created pictorial and new generation of calendar,leading to the arrival of the picture-reading era and starting a novel commercial creation model of Shanghai style painters.As one of the commercial painters drawing with lithography,Zhou Muqiao once participated in the Dianshizhai Pictorial and played an important role in Jiujiaochang New Years Painting and early calendars.His experience reflected that the production technology of publishing industry propelled the urban economy and promoted the culture transmission.
