摘要
上海福州路以前俗称四马路,是公共租界的中心街道之一。它集娱乐、文化、商业于一体,是十里洋场的缩影。民国以后,福州路及附近街道汇聚了众多出版社、书店和报刊社,成为上海乃至全国重要的思想文化信息出版传播中心。至今,福州路上林立的书店及文具店,依然留有昔日书店街的风貌。
Previously called No.4 Horse Road,Fuzhou Road in Shanghai was once one of the central streets in the International Settlement,integrating entertainment,culture and commerce together as an epitome of“ten miles of luxury”.After the Republic of China,numerous publishing houses,book stores and newspaper offices converged on Fuzhou Road and adjacent streets,which became a key center of spreading ideological and cultural information in Shanghai and even the whole China.Up till today,the book stores and stationery stores on Fuzhou Road still keep the features of the bookshop street in the former days.
