A Talk on the Seals of Dr.Sun Yat-sen and Madam Soong Ching-ling

孙中山、宋庆龄一生中使用过大量印章,有与两人所充实的革命活动密不可分的官方印信,也有反映两人审美情趣及私人交住的私人藏印。这些印章历经岁月的变迁,一直由宋庆龄悉心珍藏。1981年宋庆龄去世,印章和其他遗物一起保存在了上海淮海中路1843号故居内。本文拟选取其中几枚形制比较特殊的私人印信作介绍。

Dr.Sun and Madam Soong used large numbers of seals in their life.Some were official seals closely connecting with the revolutionary activities which they two took up and others were individual seals reflecting their aesthetic taste and private association.These seals,going through vicissitudes had always been treasured up by Madam Soong Ching-ling and were preserved in Soong Ching-ling Memorial Residence located at No.1843 Middle Huaihai Road after she passed away in 1981.This essay introduces several private seals with special forms.
