There is the moral deversity in the world,which characterize the actural moral geography of bioethics and grounds the debates regarding the use of human embryos as a source of stem cells.The use of stem cell even appears problematic in a secular culture.It can only be understood in terms of the influence of remnants of traditional Christian moral intuitions and expectation.The stem cell debates express deeper cultural fault-lines.We are living in the age of the culture wars.Rawlsian expectations regarding public discourse and resonable moral pluralism should be given re-appraisment.
