摘要
本文应用小波变换的ＭＡＬＬＡＴ算法，结合矢量量化和ＭＡＸ量化提出了一种新的图像压缩编码方法。实验结果表明给出了较高的压缩比和很好的图像还原效果。
A new method for image coding use proposed by use ofthe MALLAT algorithm of the wavelet transform combining with vector quantization and MAX quantization. The results of experiment showed much higher compression rate and better resutls of image decoding.
