Analysis of the Ring Cavity of Dye Lasers with the Methods of Equivalent Thick Lens Sequence and of Ray Matrix

本文系统论述了环形染料激光腔的计算方法；结合具体腔长参数，计算了高斯光 束的三个束腰位置及相应的束腰半径；确定了环形染料激光腔内高斯光束的传输特 性。本文所涉及的方法也能用于激光陀螺环形腔的分析，井可由腔长来决定放电毛细 管的直径。

The methods of analysing the ring cavity of the dye lasers are syste- matically described and three waist locations of Gaussian Beam and their minimum spot sizes are calculated.The Gaussian Beam is characterized and the calculated results agree with the actual measurements. These methods can also be applied to analysing the ring cavity of the laser gyro and then the diameter of the gain capillary can be determined with the given cavity length.
