A Study of Corporate Social Responsibility in International Law

现代社会责任运动的发展,推动了有关企业社会责任的国际法律规制开始形成,其规范渊源既包括大量由非政府组织制定的标准或准则、国际组织制定的非约束性文件等没有严格法律约束力的"软法"规范,同时也出现了以有约束力的国际法规则来调控企业社会责任的趋势。中国应通过包括国际法在内的各种途径,积极参与国际人权、劳工、环保等标准的制定和实施,推动企业经济责任和社会责任的良性互动,使企业社会责任运动为我国在21世纪的和平发展作出应有的贡献。

The concept of corporate social responsibility,which dates back to the early 20th century,has raised great concerns worldwide.This paper,after briefly tracing the origin and development of corporate social responsibility,focuses on its normative sources and main contents from the perspective of international law,including the various new trends with respect to the legalization of corporate social responsibility in international law.The paper also discusses the influence of corporate social responsibility on China's peaceful development as well as China's countermeasures.
