摘要
随着工业现场通信量的增加 ,现有的现场总线很难满足要求。为解决PC领域多媒体通信问题而发明的IEEE 1394 (又称为火线 )具有即插即用、速度高、成本低廉、易于使用等良好性能 ,有可能成为工业现场的新型总线标准。该文从协议框架的角度探讨了火线用作现场总线的可行性 。
The existing fieldbuses will hardly meet the requiements of the increasing communication in the industrial fields.The IEEE 1394(firewire),first introduced into the multimedium communication on a PC basis ,has the characteristics of plug and play,high speed,relative low cost,ease of use and so on.It will become a potential industrial fieldbus standard.In this paper,the feasibility of using this firewire as a fieldbus is discussed from the view of its protocol framework.Its disadvantages are also pointed out.
