Quality and commercial success are closely related. The machine constructor has various points of reference for a positive influence on the quality of the result by the textile finisher. Quality management begins with marketing, continues with design and development and the quality must then be demonstrated in daily use, i.e. during production by the textile finisher. The essential features of qulaity policy in the construction of textile finishing systems are avoidance of potential sources of danger, incorporation of freedom from maintenance, monitoring of reference and actual values and handling of the exception status. All these are measures for increasing process safety and reproducibility.
