摘要
本文在西方现代文化的语境中 ,通过以《吉檀迦利》为对象的个案研究 ,考察了泰戈尔在西方现代文化中的积极性误读与消极性误读 ,辨析了这种文化误读根源于异国情调与东方他者的误读和殖民主义文化语境的认可 ,以挖掘泰戈尔在后殖民主义时代对东西方走向文化对话所具有的意义。
The paper studies the cultural misreadings of Tagore's Gitanjali in modern western cultures. It analyzes two kinds of cultural misreadings: active misreading and passive misreading. It also gives two reasons for the cultural misreadings, namely, Orientalism and Colonialism. The paper aims at revealing the value of Tagore in the dialogue and understanding between eastern and western cultures in post-colonialist time.
