摘要
副文本研究是翻译研究不可忽视的一环,是对正文本研究的一个有益且必要的补充,是译者显身及译者和读者互动的重要平台,同时也可以揭示译作形成的时代背景,体现译者的翻译主张和翻译策略选择考量等,拓展了翻译研究的视角。以林语堂《浮生六记》汉英对照绘图本为研究对象,深挖其数量众多的副文本形式的材料,从而证明副文本对于翻译文本研究的不可或缺性。
The study of paratext is an essential part in the study of translation, and it is a useful and necessary supplement for the study of text, as well as a very important platform for the visibility of the translator and the interaction of the translator with the target readers. And it can reveal the social background under which the translated works was produced and reflect the translation claims of the translator and the thoughts of choosing translation strategies, thus expands the angle of translation studies. This article takes Six Chapters of a Floating Life translated by Lin Yutang in both Chinese and English with drawings as the research target, digging into its various forms of paratexts, and it is a proof of the indispensability of paratext to the study of the text of translation.
