摘要
本文根据国家教育部高教司制订的《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》 ,分析了非英语专业学生的英语能力现状 ,认为公共英语教学要以培养阅读理解能力为重点 ,兼顾听、说、写、译能力的培养 ,提出要适应学生不同层次的需求 ,采取分级教学 ,因材施教。
This piece,based on Fundamental Requirements in English Courses of Higher vocational education formulated by the Higher Educational Department of the Ministry of Education of our country,analyses the English proficiency of non-English major students,suggests that College English teaching lay its importance on fostering the students'ability in reading comprehension,and also takes it into account to develop their ability to hear,to talk,to write,and to translate;the article proposes,too,that,to meet the demands of different students,we must teach students of different levels in accordance with their aptitude,so that they can acquire basic abilities in multiple applications of English.
