5~6周龄Wistar大鼠雄性262只、雌性263只,分成四组,分别喂饲0、50、200和500ppm氰戊菊酯的饲料二年,实验结果:除500ppm组雌鼠在1、2、10、11周体重增长缓慢和两性少数动物在2~4周出现暂时性的临床症状外,各剂量组食物利用率、死亡率、SGPT、BUN、脏体比和非肿瘤性损害与对照组比较无明显差别。病理检查发现多种组织(主要为乳腺、垂体、肺、肾上腺和子宫)肿瘤,两性大鼠各实验组发瘤率以及多发性肿瘤和恶性肿瘤发生率与对照组比较无明显差异,也没有剂量-反应关系,表明受试物对Wistar大鼠没有致癌作用。未观察到作用的水平为200ppm。
262 male and 263 female Wistar rats, divided randomly into 4 groups,were fed diets containing 0, 50, 200 and 500 ppm of fenvalerate, respectively, for up to 2 years. No statistically significant differences in feed efficiency, mortality, SGPT, BUN,organ/body-weight ratios, nonneoplastic lesions,and total neoplasm, multi-primary neoplasm and malignant neoplasm morbidity rate in both sexes were observed between control and treated groups, except that bodyweight gain was retarded in the female rats group received 500 ppm at wk 1, 2, 10, 11 compared to the control group,and a few animals in both sexes among the highest dose groups developed transitory clinical signs of toxicity at wk 2 to 4. The results also showed no dose-response relationship between the given doses and the morbidity of the neoplasms, which indicated that fenvalerate was found not to be carcinogenic to Wistar rats. The no-observable-effect level was determined to be 200 ppm.
