平滑调频(TFM)技术是一种新型的用于数据传输的调制技术,其主要特点是带外辐射小、频带利用率高,能很好地应用于窄带数据传输。同时,其发射机和接收机结构都比较简单。本文介绍了平滑调频用于数据传输的基本原理和性能,以及它在Polyseis地震数据采集系统中的应用。

This paper describes a new type of frequency modulation, called Tamed Frequency Modulation (TFM) for digital transmission. The main advantage of TFM are as follows; the out-of-band radiation is substantially less than other modulation techniques, the utilization rate of band is higher and desired used in narrow-band digital transmission, moreover, the structure of its transmitter and receiver is very simple. This paper introduces the basic principle of TFM and its application in Polyseis system.
