在香港,建筑耗能巨大并且是温室气体排放的主要来源。为了降低香港的碳排量,香港建造业议会制定出一系列建筑减排措施,并正发展香港首座零碳建筑的项目。此建筑将座落于香港东九龙,结合各种先进环保技术——包括建筑结构中的被动式节能技术、主动式节能技术,以及可再生能源利用,来达到零碳排放的目标。另外,该建筑物的周边将建设香港首个都市原生林来优化当地微气候和促进当地的生物多样化。此项目旨在向香港及世界各地的建造业展示环保建筑的尖端科技及先进设计,并提高公众对可持续生活模式的认知。
In Hong Kong, the buildings consume most of the energy and are the major contributor to the Green Hourse Gas (GHG) emissions. To this end, the Hong Kong Construction Industry Council (CIC) has initiated a series of initiatives to reduce the GHG emissions from the construction industry, and is developing the first Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) in Hong Kong. Located in Kowloon East, the ZCB integrates the state-of-the-art design and technologies, including the passive design, positive systems and the renewable energy systems with a view to achieving the zero carbon emissions. The ZCB project also includes the development of the first urban native woodland in Hong Kong, which would improve the local micro-climate and enhance the local biodiversity. The main objective of the ZCB is to showcase the state-of-the-art eco-building design and technologies to the construction industry internationally and locally as well as to raise the awareness of sustainable living in Hong Kong.
